How can I book a hotel in Tacloban Philippines when I am in another country? I live in Australia and all airlines have ceased contracting to hotels in Philippines. I have been to 3 travel agents and they all say that they can book me flights to Philippines but not accomodation. It is not possible to get any brochures on Philippines. They advised all airlines has ceased involvment in promoting the country. How can I book a hotel besides calling them directly? Are there any internet sites?

Cheap day tours in the philippines, from the airport or hotel or prebooked? I will be in the phillipines next week and I'd like to do 2 day tours one to Tagaytay (I'll be in Manila) and one to Bohol(I'll be in Cebu) is it better to book in advance for these tours or should I wait to arrive to book, I hear that there is a lot of credit card fraud and am reluctant to pay for things without seeing the tickets any advice? Can anyone suggest a name for a luxury hotel that will open in Cebu Philippines? Its a 3-storey hotel, w/ a pool & spa. Pls have the word "Orchard" in it or maybe you can suggest an entirely new one.
