And also what would be the cost of living for 2 adults and 2 children including everything in Manila region Thanks for the answers--It would be nice if anyone can suggest Girl`s schools and safe neighbourhoods to live. My budget for annual school expenses is PHP 25000 per child.

  1. idk about manila. i live in the visayas. i have a child in grade 1, the tuition is almost P30,000 a year. when she was in a pre-school, it was P15,000 a year
  2. You said international or private...that depends on where you live. 50,000 per kid per year...that would include transportation, uniforms, books. Paying rent? Or company provided? If company pays rent or allowance...100, 000 pesos per month. If not...100, 000 per month is going to be tight..add 30-40k. EDIT: Your budget for school is too low...and you didn't say where you want to live...here are 2 options. San Lorenzo College, includes grade school...to college..on Congressional Ave QC....about 1km from SM North and North Ave MRT. Falcon School and Hope Christian Acedemy...both on Dahlia St West Fairview, Novaliches..fits your budget, not quite..but a difficult commute to Metro if it's daily(I mean if husband is working)...schools are walking distance and it's quiet middle class area.
  3. Tuition (one year) in private schools can range from P15,000 to over P100,000 depending on where you send them, not counting books, school supplies, uniforms, allowance, and other minor expenses that the school may impose (e.g. field trips, program costumes, etc.) Electricity ---considering 14 to 16 cu.ft. ref, washing machine & ironing 3x a week, two aircons open 8 hrs a day, computer, TV, electric fans, toaster, microwave --- roughly P8,000 to P9,000 a month. Telephone with dsl internet, roughly P1,500 to P2,000. Groceries, clothing & accessories, rent, condo, townshouse or subdivision dues, maids, tutors if any, transportation or gasoline/car maintenance, other monthly dues (country club, sports establishments and such ), cellphone bills, entertainment, gifts --- these are variable, but the minimum should be about P50,000 a month; the maximum, well, that depends on one's lifestyle and budget.
