Am I allowed to stay in the Philippines for more than 90 days if I have dual citizenship?
Hello everyone, I am planning to go to the Philippines for 3 months in February. I was wondering if, being a citizen for BOTH the US and the Philippines, I am allowed to stay in the Philippines for more than 90 days without having to go to the embassy and paying the fee. I appreciate all the help I can get.

- Hi. I don't think you should have a problem with this. I am a dual citizen of U.S. and Poland, and I have been living for a year and a half in Spain. If I had only my American citizenship I would have needed to get a visa from the Embassy, then go to the Police station and get a student residency card, which only last a year (I would need that to re-enter Spain or Europe). But seeing as I have the Polish citizenship, I only registered myself with the Police station (5 year maximum residency before renewal). Furthermore, I have been able to enter and leave the United States without any issues when I come back for the holidays. The customs in the United States isn't that tough to get through; they usually don't ask you any questions beyond "Where have you been before arriving?" and " What was the purpose?" But if they give you any issues for not having a visa, you can just take out your other passport (or if you don't have a passport, your papers that state you're a citizen) and show it to them. They should let you through. If you have anymore questions, feel free to message me.
