The Philippines

What happen if philippines will move to north or will move away from the equator?

Well... If this will happen, is there a chance to have a winter in philippines? Snow?

Public Comments

  1. yes , if it moves far enough
  2. It depends on how far the country will be up north.
  3. of course.. it can happen.. but it has to be far enough to the north..
  4. Then all hell break loose because the whitening soap companies will no longer make any money to sell it especially those who uses it. Imagine that!
  5. Winter and snow, yes. But how will the squatters of Manila survive the winter? Anyone remembers how many squatters died during a brief period of chilly 60 F + degrees in the 1960s? Our homes are designed for summer climate and will have to be fitted with heating systems, etc. I wouldn't trade our balmy weather for all the winter fun.
  6. Assuming that it happens. Philippines will no longer be a sub-tropical country. Philippines will experience having a white Christmas. Dream come true to some Filipinos.
  7. If that happens, I will force the equator to move itself closer to the Philippines. I can not afford bitter winters at my age!
